Sometimes eating the same foods over and over gets boring but you can make them more appealing by changing the presentation. For instance, the other day, I turned my usual bowl of yogurt, fruit and granola into a banana split. I usually stir in a little all fruit jam into the yogurt but this time, I heated the jam and turned it into a sweet syrup. Give it a try! This is also good for a sweet snack or dessert.
Banana Split Breakfast
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon strawberry all fruit jam
1 tablespoon granola and/or chopped walnuts
Slice the banana in half and place on a plate or shallow bowl. Dollop yogurt on top of banana. In a small microwave safe bowl, microwave jam for 10-15 seconds to make it pourable. Drizzle over the yogurt and top with granola and/or chopped nuts.
